Roe Pinot Noir Sharecropper's 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Sourced from several sites in the Northern Willamette Valley predominately the Eola-Amity Hills and the Yamhill-Carlton District. The long summer allowed unusually deep aromatic development while the mild temperatures helped to preserve excellent crisp acidity. This vintage is well balanced with a lovely plush texture and deep rich flavors of red cherries cola and coffee. A gorgeous vintage not to be missed!

Owen Roe:
Since our first vintage in 1999, Owen Roe winery has been working to produce exceptional, hand crafted wines. We are especially committed to the low vigor hillside vineyards of Yakima Valley Washington. These vineyards yield fruit with low pH and high acidity, both harbingers of age-able wines.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
