- The Sonoma County harvest of 2000 was considered one of the heaviest in recent history. The Sauvignon Blanc yield, however, was an exception to the rule. Spring rains during bloom hit Sauvignon Blanc vines, lowering its yield. Once again, less fruit meant more intensity to fewer berries. This years Sauvignon Blanc is packed with fresh fruit character. The bouquet is predominately tropical with banana and orange blossom and slight touches of peach and nutmeg. Aromas are broad and effusive.
