I'd like to add this to my private stash. Another excellent Oregon Pinot. It loses point because of the ridiculous price point. $55 is a little much. Oregon prices are seriously out of control in this economy.
Beautiful nose of cherry and violets. Vibrant, clean and rich fruit. Very fruity, yet balanced and not cloying. A really nice wine.
Good Pinot, but flavor profile is limited and a bit dull for our tastes. A bit of a let-down for us after the big recommendation from the wine-store.
Wondered about the higher price for the Stash over the Willamette Valley, but worth the venture. This single vineyard wine has great depth and complexity stacked on top of the full flavor. Drinking the ROCO 07 PS now... will cellar some of the 08.
Wasn't surprised by the beautiful spice, earthiness and texture of this elegant Oregon Pinot. Has plenty of fruit, nicely balanced acids and tannins. Like that it doesn't knock you over the head.
