Rockpile Winery Mauritson Red Bordeaux Blend Rockpile Buck Pasture Rockpile Ridge Vineyards 2007
Food Pairings for Rockpile Winery Mauritson Red Bordeaux Blend Rockpile Buck Pasture Rockpile Ridge Vineyards
The 2007 Buck Pasture is elegant and powerful, restrained yet complex. The nose is a harmonious representation of the blend: Cabernet flavors of cassis, black cherry, cola, and tobacco, the red fruit and white pepper of Malbec, the dark brooding fruit of Petit Verdot, and the floral range of Cabernet Franc. The palate is no less enchanting: the tannins coat your mouth from front to back with a firm suppleness, the acidity is perfectly integrated, and the finish seems to last an eternity. This wine will age beautifully for the next 10 years.
