- Extremely food friendly with a wide variety of flavors; a little hot on the nose. Good greens, alfalfa and watercress. Very floral in the finish, lavender prominent. Black and brown spices. Delicious.

- Oak apparent on the nose but subtly integrated. Rich, ripe and modern in style, but still capturing the essence of Valpolicella. Lovely wine. Long finish. Drink 2008-11.
