- The response to the 2004 Rocca recently was excellent. We sold out of our initial allocation in a matter of days and have arranged for more. Celia Masyczek uses about 2/3 new oak and the final wine is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 2% Petite Verdot. Blue fruit and creamy mocha in the nose with abundant richness, boundless mounds of rich crushed blackberry and dark cherry, with a spicy smooth core of stone fruits.
