Food Pairings for Robertson Winery Pinotage Phanto Ridge
I explore Pinotage because it is on its way in. It's relatively new. It's Africa, and The Toasted Hostess needs her Africa. It is complex and beautiful. As Pinotage goes, this has fewer earthy tones and the notes are note as hearty as some. Very drinkable with the steak, chile-cornbread and green beans we has for supper this evening.
thin, bland, weak, boring
Aromas of plum and roses. Deep ruby color. Lush mouth feel, big flavors but finishes smooth and wet. "Ripe tannins.". Pairings: Grilled steak or ribs, potatoes and vegetables. Pretty good grillin' wine.
