Robertson Winery Natural Sweet White 2004

Way to sweet for my taste. It felt like I was drinking sweetened grape juice. If you want a wine without that typical alcohol taste then this is it.

This is a mood wine, certainly. I thought the bottle was lovely and decided to give it a try. I love discovering wine that way---judging a book by its cover. My first thoughts as I drink it right now: Although not complicated or sophisticated, it's delightful really. A sweeter wine for sure but not "light". I find it bursting with deep slightly under-ripe fruit flavors. This would surely be a spectacular summer wine -- so refreshing. Again, I tend to view wine (and other spirits) seasonally so I strongly suggest this as a summer gathering gift.
