Robert Sinskey Vineyards White Blend Carneros Abraxas Vin de Terroir Scintilla Sonoma Vineyard 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

The Abraxas Vin de Terroir sparkles in the glass. Bright stone fruit, honeysuckle, citrus blossom and wet stones all lurk amongst its heady perfume. Lemongrass, crisp nectarine and bright grapefruit play off the wine's honeyed texture on the palate. This wine is simply a delight- we love it!

To taste an RSV wine at home or in a restaurant is a good thing; however, to experience a flight of RSV wines, in the place they were made, can be a very enlightening experience. Find out why RSV was named Sunset magazine’s tasting room of the year and the Wine Spectator featured it as a must visit winery in Napa Valley. But don’t take their word for it, come see it yourself. Great wine is about good food and good people. You will find all that and more at RSV. Requests for tours are tentative until confirmed via email or phone. Very floral aromas. Smooth and clean. This wine is very tasty.

A blend of pinot grigio, pinot blanc, reisling and gewurtz. A complex blend with gewurtz on the nose (spice), and some reisling minerality shining through. Rather a confusing melange in the mouth, although it had an ok finish with some spice and a touch of tartness.
