Firstly, this is not, as the name indicates a white wine. Vin gris should be white. It is, however, a very pale rose. It has a luscious color - a sort of salmon pink / rose petal color. Its crisp in the mouth, full of soft melon and a delicate strawberry. A pleasant finish with a touch of spice. Has it served with a light breaded chicken breast and steamed vegetables. Overall, this is a light rose. Its very nice, but the price is steep. I debate if its worth it.

Simply the best American rose. We compare each year the Sinskey Vin Gris with the Domaine Tempier Bandol Rose to see which is best. It tends to bounce back and forth, but they both are 100% winners, every year.

Well, it's organic! But really quite young and too hot right now, especially after the second glass. The powerful cherry aromas are quite nice.

A captivating jewel-like glint of pale pink salmon attracts the eye as aromas of fraises-des-bois and mandarin waft from the glass. Taking a sip is like biting into a crisp, ripe nectarine with citrus, pear, and slate. The wine is delicious with youthful vivaciousness, but will only become more enticing as it develops a savory quality. Take with food. - Winery ** Only 12 in Stock **

Stunningly beautiful to the eye with a gem-like glimmer, this whole cluster pressed rosé of Pinot Noir exhibits delicate purity. Aromas of pear and wild strawberry dance from the glass as complex flavors of mineral and herb co-mingle with a vibrant mouth-feel - an absolutely refreshing experience! This Vin Gris of Pinot Noir is an incredibly versatile wine to pair with food as it can stand up to the more extreme of ethnic cuisines-Asian, Mexican and Indian- yet it is completely comfortable with a simple sandwich or classic French bistro fare. - Winery ** Only 6 in Stock **

The Vin Gris' delicate hue speaks of purity. Born of whole-cluster pressed Pinot Noir, its copper-tinged salmon color recalls spring in Napa Valley. The wine's beguiling aromas of bright fresh berries and herbs are a delight. A taste induces smiles with a wide palate of refreshing flavors: wild strawberry, cranberry, and watermelon rind, all scented with an implacable category defying floral herb note. Be warned... once a bottle is opened, willpower will be challenged and you will be hard pressed not to finish it. We suggest sharing with a friend or two. - Winery ** SOLD OUT **

Bright aromas of cherries and plums waft from a glass of 2003 Aries Pinot Noir. Dark juicy fruit backed by earth, spice, and subtle oak dance on the silky Pinot texture and find balance in mouthwatering acidity and juicy tannins. -From the Winemaker
