What to Expect

Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.

Editorial Reviews

With gooseberry, cat pee, jalapeño, this is a typical southern hemisphere SB, fresh and bright in the mouth with citrus, pineapple(-), and faintly herbal notes, neither deep nor intense but balanced and fresh, in a softer style, easy to drink. 84pts

Reviews

Grassy notes over cooked cabbage and rubberband nose leads to full, oily, herbal, grassy, citrus, and cat pee flavors.

Four separate parcels were fermented by neutral cultured yeasts in stainless steel to capture the juicy fruit flavor, lively texture, and characteristic grassy notes of the varietal.

interesting tart, salty tropical flavors. It's like drinking a margarita! i've never had an australian sauvignon blanc so I find this fascinating. I even get some basil and rosemary flavors. in a blind tasting I would peg this for a Sancerre.

already showing its age it seems...a little orange blossom aroma gives way to band-aid and rubbery smells - ends with tart lemon fruit. decent
