What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Editorial Reviews

Ripe, spicy, licorice, leather, char, burnt sugar, vanilla, candied black currant, A touch simple with a smoky/oaky-fruity dichotomy.

Soft in the mouth yet it still has a fair amount of acid. Instead of being integrated the acid hangs obtrusively above the fruit. Gentle red fruits on the palate, some nicely ripe tannins, not much complexity nor detail here. Red currant, woody, candied cherry, a bit astringent on the finish.

A simple quaffing wine. 83pts

cellar this one for a few years. I decanted for 3 hours and only got a glimpse of the potential. but by the time this was realized, most of the bottle was gone. a Bordeaux of this quality would probably cost twice as much. this fits steak like a glove. long smooth blackberry finish.
