A decent table wine. A little sharp, which you'd expect from this price wine, but the flavor is very bright and soft. I was given this at a museum function. I would like to serve it with a sharp cheddar or bold bleu some evening hanging out with friends.
Rich, dark berry aroma. A little spicy, and a bit hot. Tannin levels are slightly strong.
Quite pleasing, ready to drink, very "Guestable"
Not a bad PN. It's very complex and earthy, although there's a bit of sourness that hits you as soon as you drink it which I wish were tempered a bit more.
Ok, but I would not buy again. I like Clos Du Bois better.
Kind of blah, bland finish. Wouldn't recommend. Better wines for the price.

The 2005 Pinot Noir, produced almost entirely from grapes grown along California’s cool Central Coast, reflects the sterling quality of an exceptional vintage. the growing season started early and ended late, allowing grapes to ripen slowly on the vine and achieve concentrated flavors at moderate alcohol levels. The wine reveals its intensity with lovely dark color and fresh aromas and flavors of ripe Bing cherry, black raspberry and cinnamon-like spice. This classic Pinot Noir character is supported by silky tannins, bright, balancing acidity and a remarkably long finish. Enjoy this vibrant, youthful wine with grilled salmon, herb-roasted chicken, country ham, and lamb chops marinated with rosemary and thyme.

Abundant layers of cherry, berry, rose and spice. Light nuances of oak and silky tannins add complexity and depth on the palate.
Strawberries, cherries, smoke and coffee flavors in this delicately structured, somewhat lean wine. It has good acidity and a pleasant mouthfeel.
It's Pinot-esque in the cherry and raspberry flavors and light, silky tannins, which make for easy drinking. Crisp acidity boosts the flavors and adds zest and life. Certainly a simple wine of little depth, but will suffice for an inexpensive Pinot Noir.
Robed in deep color, this Pinot Noir opens with the intense aromas of dark fruits black cherries and plums that echo on the palate. Wellintegrated acids bring a measure of vibrancy to the lush, fleshy texture, and fine-grained tannins lend structure into the smooth, lingering finish.
Sour cherry and candied raspberry flavors are tasty and refreshing, with a hint of roasted herb and pepper on a light, smooth frame. Drink now through 2009.
