An aggressive, lean wine, with grapefruit aromas and flavors. Powerful fruity, spicy flavors attack; no or low oak. Crisp and very dry; tart and clean. A wet-your-whistle wine at an attractive price.

Bright pale gold color. Medium-bodied. Balanced acidity. Moderately extracted. Pineapple, vanilla. Floral accented nose. Generous pineapple flavors predominate with some subtle vanilla oak influence. Crisp and clean finish.

Frank and enjoyable for its racy, mineral-scented pear and herb flavors.

This wine exhibits vibrant flavors and crisp acidity with fruit aromas reminiscent of citrus, pear and melon with a hint of spice that adds interest with each sip.

Pretty plum, honey, lemon and spice flavors form a core element here, with a tangy, tad-bitter finish.

Winemaker's Notes:

The Robert Mondavi Private Selection range wines embrace the best characteristics of their distinctive vineyards on California's Central Coast, where cool fog and ocean breezes create a long growing season that results in grapes of intense flavour concentration. The unique geography and fascinating history of California's Central Coast give the region a character as distinctive as its wines. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, this wine is aged in French Oak barrels prior to release. The result is a delicate, clean, crisp wine with aromas of pears and melons and the trademark oak-ageing gives the wine a nice toasty finish.
