Initially very smooth. Slightly citrusy, but I feel like it's a little creamy as well. It's a bit too hot (or maybe that's the bite of a little too much citrus?). Either way, while this may go really well with food, I found it was a very strong wine to just sip without anything balancing out its bite.

Plush, exotic aromas of guava, passion fruit and verbena layer over flavors of ripe white peaches and nectarines on the palate, wrapped in mouth-watering acidity and extending into a lively finish.

Not clear why the winery has to identify this on the front label as Sauvignon Blanc after all these years of calling it Fumé Blanc, but it's an awfully good wine, especially at this price. Dry and crisply acidic, it shows mouthwateringly clean flavors of citrus fruits, gooseberries and minerals. - S.H. Bright pale yellow. Piquant aromas of lemon peel and grapefruit. Juicy and moderately intense, with brisk acidity and a stony quality to the flavors of grapefruit, flowers and spearmint. Just 25% new oak, with a low pH of 3.14. Melon, apple, yellow raisin and peach flavors have a spicy, fresh herbal component and a fleshy texture, with plenty of acidity to keep this refreshing and balanced. Drink now. 32,000 cases made. -MW Plush, exotic aromas of guava, passion fruit and verbena layer over flavors of ripe white peaches and nectarines on the palate, wrapped in mouth-watering acidity and extending into a lively finish. - WineryVarietal comp...
