This is subtle smoky with some geranium stem notes and slightly woodsy tones under a layer of ripe, limy fruit. In the mouth this is rich and perfumed with a very smooth texture that makes it immediately attractive The fruits tend to the tropical with notes of pineapple, citrus and melon, though there are intriguing notes of white peach and green tomato adding depth and complexity. This finishes with a minor mineral flourish and lovely inner mouth perfumes of fresh herbs. 90pts
Nice typical warm climate Sauvignon Blanc aromas of ripe fruit, with notes of peach, melon and citrus in a rather intense, bright register. On the palate this adds a nice herbal, green fruit top note that adds some contrast to the rich fruit. The acidity is very bright , keeping this lighter weight wine nice and vibrant and helping to drive the finish, which shows a nice citrus final. 87pts

Classy fume blanc, barrel-aged for richness. Aromas of creamy citrus and melon with some tarragon and herbal notes. Fresh citrus and orchard fruits are in nice balance with the oaks, which is subtle and lends depth and complexity to the wine. Great with smoked fish.
This wine was courtesy of a great new value from my store down from 15.99 to 9.98, and was excited to give it a go. It recieved a 91 pt rating. I really enjoyed this wine, it was very unique in the strong acidity it posessed and bright fruit while combined still with a touch of nice cream and roundness from the oak touched. Lemon and lime with plenty of grapefruit. I overall did enjoy the smoothness and creaminess of this wine, but you have to be wanting to see this when you pick it up as a sauvignon blanc. I am one who enjoys oak on my chards so this was welcome for the touch it gave. One I think would be a great food friendly wine and even very great for drinking on its own. And at under 10 bucks an absolute homerun, and one I will surely recommend to others and try again.

Most of the fruit for this white comes from the Stags Leap district, which is known and loved for its concentrated, varietally correct Sauvignon Blanc. The wine shows pronounced gooseberry and melon flavors, with well-balanced acidity.
