Very vanilla and oak nose. A nice acidic attack. This is a very oaky wine. I felt it was a bit lacking in fruit for this much oak. Any fruits there were came out rather muted - there was some apple and stone fruit in there somewhere. A spicy, oaky finish. Enjoyed with my brand new Riedel glasses - thanks Mark
Recommended by WYPR's Cellar Notes (as a picnic wine).
For anyone that likes oaky chards like I do, this one is a great pick! It's buttery, oaky and has a very smooth finish.
