This is one of the most drinkable cabs I have had to date. Tastes of plums and dark cherry combine with spice to form a smooth and powerful finish. The oak is there, but only adds another dimension and is not an overwhelming presence. Unlike other cabs that I've had, this is not overpowering nor does it leave a persistent and unpleasant aftertaste.

I'm a fan of value wines, and this is one of those wines that approaches the flavor of a pricier mondavi, but within monetary reason. I typically keep several bottles of this wine available for everyday drinking

i thought this wine was very drinkable. I have read some bad reviews of it that compared it with tums, etc. Not so. It isnt GREAT, but definitely can partake of this wine with many meals.

It is very fruit forward and high tannins. Has a velvety feeling after you drink it. Some have used "chalky". Perhaps a little, but i dont want to distract from the fact that this is a very drinkable wine.
