- I have enjoyed this wine on many occasions and always get a sense that there is a lot of (enjoyable) flavors going on here. It has a lot of oak, cedar and tannins - that make it especially good with grilled meats. The fruits are dark (blackberry, currant) with a hint of vanilla and spice. I find it slightly over-oaked, but still very delicious.
