Deep, dense and concentrated, the flavors echo intense aromas of blueberry, bramble and cassis intermingled with cocoa, cinnamon and sweet, toasty oak. Bold, yet supple on the palate, the dark, richly-fruity flavors are balanced by a bright acidity an

Profound and intense, this Cabernet casts aromas of dark, concentrated fruit, warm vanilla and star anise around a powerfulmid-palate of vibrant huckleberry, blackberry and currant flavors. Its well-defined structure is accentuated by notes of freshlycut oregano, lemon verbena and bay leaves woven into the firm, seamless tannins. Continuing in the tradition of bold yetgraceful Napa Valley Cabernets, this wine captivates with a lengthy, enduring finish.

Our Cabernet Sauvignon comes from cool-climate Central Coast grapes and has been blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Teroldego, and Petite Sirah. The wine has the sweet floral red fruit character that distinguishes California's finest Cabernet Sauvignons, and its smoky oak and burgundy barrel roundness invigorates the palate while providing a lasting finish. Enjoy with a variety of dishes, from standing rib roasts, grilled steak, and roast duck to spare ribs, lasagna, and flavorful hard cheeses. - WineryVARIETAL COMPOSITION83% Cabernet Sauvignon,4% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot,3% Syrah, 2% Petit Verdot,2% Teroldego, 2% Petite SirahAPPELLATION54% Monterey County, 30% Paso Robles, 10% San Benito County, 4% North Coast, 2% Valley SouthOAK AGING: 12 monthsTA: 6.4g/LpH: 3.57ALCOHOL: 13.5%

Lush and velvety, this Merlot brims with ripe dark fruit and sweet spice character from grapes grown in the southern half of Napa Valley, from Oakville to the Los Carneros region.

Deliciously true to the variety, it weaves together a rich and complex array of concentrated black and red berries, dusty earth and a hint of fresh herbs, rounded by a sweet underpinning of mocha-tinged toasty oak. It fleshes out steadily in the glass, and lingers, revealing even more layers of lush, ripe cherry and plummy fruit supported by firm, fine grained tannins and a refreshing acidity. - Winery

Our Merlot displays all the attributes that make this variety so popular: bright aromas and flavors of smooth cherry, plum and strawberry with hints of cedar, black olive and spice-supported by a supple texture with fine-grained tannins and bright acidity. These qualities come from choice Central Coast Merlot grapes, with 9% Syrah for enhanced color and richness. The Central Coast American Viticultural Area (AVA), especially Monterey County, provides the temperate climate, cool breezes and moist alluvial soils in which Merlot thrives, developing ripe, fruity flavors while retaining good balancing acidity. We enhance the wine's pure fruit flavors with just a hint of oak for roundness and complexity.
