Mondavi's classic Fume is richly oaked, its sauvignon fruit offering the fleshiness of green fig and spice to stand up to the wood. Floral aspects come up in the clean finish, acidic and firm. Give this a year or two of age, thens erve with roast veal. -Wines & Spirits Robert Mondavi pioneered barrel aged Fume Blanc, and still makes one of the best there is.
