Our 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon epitomizes the rich character and soft, approachable tannins of the vintage. With the seasons long hang time the small berries reached the desired state of ripeness where the tannins become very soft and supple. Even in its youth, this Reserve wine has tremendous fruit expression, depth, and a velvety texture. The outstanding natural balance, enhanced by gentle vinification, promises great ageing potential. Nuances of spice, cedar forest and licorice lead to rich layers of cassis, boysenberry and black cherry which slowly unfold on the palate. The wine is complex with broad, muscular tannins, excellent structure and a long, velvety finish.
