Robert Hall Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon Wine 2015

Member Review by mugwump718:

41% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 7% Paso Robles. Vanilla spice and cherry tomato with a smooth finish. Some tangy lemon zesty overtones with a sprinkling of oak. A great Wednesday night wine.

full bodied. great dark color. ok nose. for 13 bucks. Very smooth and well balanced. one of the best for under 15 bucks. medium tannins and smooth in the aftertaste. Smoooooth. If you want something very balanced and not too bold this may be for you. a solid B+ maybe even an A-. Haven't had a paso robles like this one. best of the best for under $20

Dark berry and plum but with a hint of vinegar. Not enjoying that.

dark fruit + herbaceous quality makes a nice drinking wine for the price...the slight vinegar bite as described by other reviewer is a nice off-set to fatty/roasted meats. enjoying this with brusells sprouts browned in bacon fat with sherry vinegar & it's a lovely accompaniment.
