The 2007 Griffin is a new product – a red blend of Cabernet, Petite Sirah and Merlot and is truly our Recession Red, given its price point! A winemaker’s dream is to be artistically free to combine characters into wine that is purely hedonic and non-compliant with varietal regulations. Here’s ours, a beautiful blend of everything in the red cellar – ripe berries, spice, everything nice. And what a price!
