We are a family winery specializing in small lots of Santa Lucia Highland's Pinot Noir, Syrah and beginning in the summer of 2009, Chardonnay. Our roots in the Santa Lucia Highlands are quite deep. Both Gary and Rosella grew up in California's agricultural heartland where Gary’s family has farmed for over 100 years. After graduating from Cal Poly with a degree in agribusiness, Gary took over the running of the family farm business, which owned and managed over 200 acres of row crops in the Salinas Valley. Recognizing the region's potential for premium wine grapes, we planted Rosella's Vineyard in 1996. We also co-own and manage the Garys' Vineyard with Gary Pisoni of Pisoni Vineyard. Read less

Vintage: 2014 11/11/2017

2014 Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir: Grapes for our 2014 Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir were harvested on September 9-18 at 25.5 - 28.4 brix. The juice spent an average of 26 days on the skins before being pressed to French oak barrels for 11 months aging. The wine was racked once, and bottled unfiltered and unfined in August 2015. Winemaker Notes: This year's Rosella’s Pinot Noir expresses the vineyard’s classic complexity with lush fruit, wonderful woody notes, meaty leather, and herbs. A very broad spectrum of fruit pervades the velvety, textured palate, ranging from strawberry and cherry through blackberry and boysenberry jam, all enveloped in a layer of violet pastilles and hints of spicy bay leaves and licorice. Alcohol: 14.7% pH: 3.71 TA: 0.57 g/100ml ** Only 12 in Stock **

Dark ruby in color with a deep, spicy nose of cola, earth, raspberries and lavender.\u00a0 On the palate there's a dense, ripe and mouthfilling texture that's filled with a variety of cherry and berry fruits.\u00a0 The acidity is well-balanced and lasts right through the long finish.

The 2009 Chardonnay Rosella's is a tighter, more focused wine than the Sierra Mar. White stone fruits, minerals, citrus and flowers come together in this vibrant, understated Chardonnay. The Rosella's captures plenty of the house style but in a disti... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2009 Roar Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard 750ml
