Enjoyed this single varietal Pinot Meunier. A bit rustic but had nice notes of cherry and other ripe berries with an interesting spice finish.
Much light passes through this wine in the glass--it wouldn't take much water to make this one look like a rose.Something of a spicy nose--think cinnamon. Very fruity on the palate. A bit tart on the throat. It's not nearly as light-bodied as its appearance would suggest. It's certainly not what I would call "full bodied," but neither would I recommend it to a white wine only drinker.
