In 1950, nine wine producers from the agriculturally rich Emilia-Romagna region "united" to form the Cantine Cooperative Riunite. The new association enabled the winemakers to purchase better equipment, share new technical ideas and technologies, and improve both the production and the quality of their wines. This has worked out very well for the winemakers and consumers. Today, over 50 years later, there are 1,200 dedicated growers who grow grapes for the production of Riunite-the world's leading wine exporter in the world! Vinification (the act of making grape juice into wine) takes place under the watchful eye of Master Oenologist Vanni Lottici and his staff of experts. In June 1993, Riunite was the first winery in Europe to be granted "Certified Quality" status. These standards guarantee consumers that their purchases have been rigorously controlled at every stage of production: from the moment the grapes arrive at the winery until the bottles are shipped. Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Riunite Lambrusco is my personal favorite. It is slightly sweet without overbearing. It goes well with most dishes from seafood, to pizza. It is a wine that is even enjoyable to non-wine drinkers which is a great thing for social occasions. Don't get me wrong, I love all sorts of wine...but when I sit at the dinner table I can easily drink several glasses of this wine without growing tired of it. When I give it to people who ask for "a little bit" they usually ask what wine that is and then accept my offer for a refill.

I've drank cristmas edition of this wine and I did not like it. Slightly carbonated wine, not a sparkling, not a plain red wine - very strange and uneasy. Not so sweet but with bitterness in taste... Not my type.

Have tried many reds, love some, hated others. Lambrusco is the wine I can drink with anything or by itself. For those just starting to try wine, I recommend this one!

Discovered this wine when offered a sample at Olive Garden. I've been hooked ever since. It's the only red wine I've yet to enjoy. Sweet. I like that it has low alcohol by volume and a low calorie count!

If you're hosting a dinner party for kin who have different tastes and aren't concerned with how much is spent on a label, this red would be my recommendation. Great with beef, lamb, bison, and/or spiced foods, this palette cleaner adds a fruity balance to stronger meals. Lambrusco could stand on it's own however, not requiring food to be enjoyed. Of bottles placed on the dinner table, this red wine should get the most nods from friends and family.
