The nose here is a touch subtle with minty top notes and a touch of sage accenting the black currant fruit flecked with notes of cured olives, smoke and minerals. In the mouth this is still very much alive with olive. Ores early on followed by a vibrant midpate full of black. Urrant and black raspberry fruit supported by juicy acidity. The tannins are present and smooth if not quite velvety lending some spice to the Cinnamon and coffee toned finish. Texturally this is just stArting to dy out. But the flavors show superb persistance on the long finish. It's. Of going to get any better but this. Still has legs. 92pts

Blueberry has a surprising presence. This wine also really shows its lava soil terroir. Great with any red meats and good with pork.
