Riesling Clos Windsbuhl Zind-Humbrecht 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

"Lithe and lively, offering expressive layers of apricot, star fruit, cantaloupe and grapefruit zest flavors, with a smoky base. Backed by razorlike acidity that creates a long, mouthwatering, almond-tinged finish...92" WS 10/12 "Bright straw-yellow color. Peach and orange aromas complicated by lichee, nutmeg and ginger. Penetrating and fairly dry, offering an exhilarating sugar/acid balance and powerful crushed stone and saline mineral flavors. This bracing, extract-rich wine is almost painful today but should be glorious with five to seven years of aging, at which point it may well merit a higher score. Very subtle and long on the aftertaste...90+" IWC 12/12

Hilling up the vine, ploughing down and plowing between the rows of vine are accomplished each year.
