User Reviews for Riesling Clos Hauserer Domaine Zind Humbrecht Bottle

Winemaker's Notes:

Berry Bros & Rudd review: As cool as a cucumber, Clos Hauserer's limestone-rich soils make it one of
Olivier's most minerally wines. The nose brims with chalky floral notes and
limey purity while the palate shows such linearity, such 'droiteur', with only
15 grams/litre of residual sugar. Clos Häuserer is one of Olivier's
less well-known vineyards, lying in the shadow of Grand Cru Hengst near
Turckheim. Yet it's perhaps this very fact that has imbued the wine with
an unassuming profile; something not lost on the locals, with whom it has
become a hit apparently. This is a dry wine for earlier drinking till 2016,
with plaice ideally.
(David Berry Green - BBR Buyer)
