This wine has a great fruit forward style and lots of zest if anything it is a little hot.
tar on the nose, with good spices. Good finish on the palate with good flavor.
Sandlewood and tar, allspice on the nose, probably my favorite part of this wine (right now). I think the 2007 is still too young, took a while to open up, 1.5 hours or so, at which point it showed some nice black cherry notes with good structure and acidity. i think this will get better if you hold a bottle, but at this price, to drink right now, give me the Seghesio or the Klinker Brick for bargain Zins to drink now.
This is a go-to everyday wine for me. Solid but not too powerful. Consistent vintage to vintage.
Excellent spice and deep flavour. A winner at an excellent price
Maybe a little young still, but drinking well. Another favorite of mine - for $20, this wine cannot be beat. Very nice, rich, spicy flavors of blueberries, cinnamon and blackberry. Paired excellently with grilled steak.
76% Zin, 8% Petite Syrah, 7% Syrah, 6% Grenache, 3% Carignane - Complex and delicious

2007 Sonoma County Three ValleysORGANIC76% ZINFANDEL, 8% PETITE SIRAH, 7% SYRAH, 6% GRENACHE,3% CARIGNANE
Zesty and appealingly eccentric, with wild berry and exotic Asian spice aromas and layered baked cherry, anise and walnut flavors. Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache and Carignane. Drink now through 2013.
Ridge's Three Valleys bottling is a field blend, consisting mainly of Zinfandel. It's a hearty, full-bodied red wine, dense with black fruit and chocolatey tannins.
Zinfandel fruit determines the wine's varietal character; old-vine carignane contributes its own bright fruit and acidity; petite sirah adds peppery spice, depth of color, and firm tannins. Mataro imparts a round, soft texture, and further complexity. old), this full, well-balanced zinfandel is enjoyable now. Its rich fruit will show to best advantage over the next four or five years.
