[$29.95] Approachable. Mild fruit, tannins. No Monte Bello, but offers some enjoyment.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Decanted 30 min+. Very nice Bordeaux-esque nose or earth and cherry. Flavors of strawberry on the attack, with some more earthiness and cherries coming into the midpalate, and on into the finish. Ample tannins, which cause some dryness in the mouth. This is still quite smooth and drinking nicely right now.
