Food Pairings for Ridge Petite Sirah Dry Creek Valley Lytton Estate
Very pleasant, mouth-filling wine. Not a wild over-the-top PS. A very tame, civilized in-the-claret-style wine. Very tame berry flavors, some earthiness and it takes a couple sips for the tanning to sneak up on you. My guess is that this wine could age for several years, but it it excellent right now. US$27.99 at Ti Time in Costa Mesa.

Full in body and fully ripened, the wine is deep and supple from first to last on the palate, and the late-arriving tannin that puts it rough stamp on the finish is nothing more than one should expect from this combination of maker and source...
