Reyka Vodka 1980
Reyka Vodka is Iceland's first ever vodka. The word derives form the Icelandic word for steam; it is geothermal steam that powers the distillery. They also use perhaps the purest water yet used in the production of vodka, drawn from a 4,000-year-old lava field it is so pure that it requires no treatment or demineralization, which most other distillers have to do.
For shipment or delivery in New York State only.

Very very smooth Vodka. Reminds me of Shakers Vodka from Minnesota.

Pre-Arrival To Ship Early January 2013 - Crafted by hand in Iceland in small batches, filtered through ancient lava rocks and made from the purest Icelandic spring water, only Reyka captures a clean taste with a crisp, smooth finish.
Just about the cleanest, purest style of vodka we've come across. Iceland's first and only master distiller, Kristmar Olafsson, uses geothermal heat to distill this unique vodka. The water is drawn from an untouched 4,000 year old lava field that also provides the igneous rocks through which the finished spirit is filtered. It melts on your tongue like a snowflake.
