Rex Hill Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2008
Exceptional Pinot Noir with all of the depth and loveliness from the near perfect 2008 Oregon vintage. Aromas of red raspberries, violets, and Bing cherries deepens to flavors of Asian plums, wet stones, clean earth and huckleberry on the palate. Rich tannis and bracing acidity balance our the abundance of juicy red fruit flavors, adding to the succulent texture and long finish. Will reward aging.

Tight, with a dark cast to the blackberry and tar flavors, playing lightly against slightly gritty tannins on the firm finish. Best from 2012 through 2016.
Though this is near the bottom end of the Rex Hill Pinot pole, it does not suffer from a lack of flavor. Big fruit, organically grown, runs right through the core, a mix of berries, cherries and plums; woven into the fruit is a lightly leafy vein, a whiff of tobacco, and a suggestion of earthy, organic compost. Thoroughly delicious.
Focused, satiny and elegant, with a powerful thrust behind the pure currant and boysenberry flavors, shaded with touches of talcum and cream as the finish expands. Drink now through 2019.
Bright red. Spicy raspberry and red cherry aromas are complicated by lively floral and herbal qualities. Sappy and round, with sweet red fruit and candied rose flavors, supple tannins and subtle spiciness. This open-knit pinot finishes with a touch of heat.
