Deep fruit and heat on the nose, with a little oak. Palate is very bright, a hint of sugar and some spice out of a dry spice box. A little medicinal as well, but all in all a pretty good value. Would love some grilled food with this, but alas I'm tasting at my desk in NYC with no grill to be seen.
Bright cherry notes on the nose with some nice wisps of campfire and a touch of oak. Smooth upon entry with hints of acidity on the palette. This would be divine for a Labor Day cookout, so take note! #GtiCabernet
a bit hot on the nose with a hint of cherry. a little spicy with dark cherries and a bit of berry. a nice smooth blackberry finish. Very nice wine. I would definitely drink this again.
I really liked this wine alot. One can enjoy a glass of this wine on it's own to enjoy it's great flavors and bouqet. I had it with home made pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Eyes: dark purple Nose: a pleasing dark and intoxicating aroma Mouth feel: dry, medium-heavy, Nice tannins, rich, slight fruitiness.
For wine that usually costs $6 (used to be $5) this makes for a bottle easy to finish. Drinkability is smooth and the taste is good. Need to have a decent wine for folks who don't know much about wine and really don't care to learn... serve this - it's sure to please those who love a hearty wine. It will drink like a starndard cab...

This wine is an under $10 steal that is nothing to scoff at. Immense flavors of raspberry plum mocha and currant flood together and lead to an extended finish. Layers of cedar and oak allow this wine to be a hearty addition to any red meat dish. However the winemaker himself calls it the “ultimate hamburger wine.”
No one wants to believe us when we tell them that they can have this wine for under 10.00 This is a hearty Cabernet Sauvignon with structure and concentration. Dark and intense in color. Hints of cedar and oak, with layers of raspberry, plum, mocha, and currant. Firm tannins with big fruit flavors lead to a lengthy and persistent finish. Its a great wine to take to dinners with family and friends. We probably dont need to say that a wine like this will work best with a hearty red meat dish, but we will any way. We can also confirm that this is the ultimate hamburger wine. - Winemaker Marty Spate
