Rene Mure Alsace Grand Cru Clos St Landelin Riesling 2010

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Earthy on the nose with dried apple fruit and lightly leafy green tea and chamomile notes. Medium- to full-bodied with nice weight on the palate, underpinned by lively if integrated acidity. This feels nicely fresh. The acidity adds a crispness to the fruit here, all apple-toned with hints of dried orange peel and apricot adding some detail. That acid pops a bit on the finish, showing off more lemony and slightly tropical citrus fruit notes on the moderately long finish. Not complex or elegant but awfully enjoyable. 90pts
