A spectacular vintage and a delicious wine, this Brunello from the outstanding 2004 vintage is showing the beauty and intensity of that superb harvest. Rated 90 points by the Wine Spectator who said "Shows floral and plum aromas, with freshly cut wood. Full-bodied, showing bright cherry and plum character on the palate, with a hint of vanilla. Silky and delicious. Best after 2010." On SALE!

An older vintage, the 2004 Rendola opens with notes of ripe fruit, pressed flowers, exotic spice, leather and licorice, with a clean, polished mouthfeel.

A little jammy on the nose, with strawberry and sultana. Full-bodied, with a dense palate, chewy tannins and a long finish. A full-throttle Brunello, but very good for the vintage. A new producer. Best after 2010.

Reddish-bronze in color. The body is intensely concentrated around a structure of earth, tannin and fruit. After a few minutes in the glass, aromas of dusty plum and berry emerge through the haze of sweet, earthy notes on the nose. The finish is intense with strong tannins, heavy hints of plum and black cherry and dark, earthy goodness.
