Rose d'Anjou 2010 - 2010 Recommended Rose, Martha Stewart Living Radio Blog/ This light bodied blend of 60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Grolleau, 10% Gamay flung strawberries and cherries and white and green pepper right out at you, and that's probably why one taster named it his favorite.

Remy Pannier premium Loire Valley wines were introduced in 1885. Over the years, Remy Pannier has developed strong working relationships with over 500 growers throughout the Loire Valley. Working closely with these affiliated growers, Remy Pannier provides advice on the latest viticultural practices to ensure production of the finest quality grapes. In the late 1990s, Remy Pannier built three state-of-the-art wineries in the premier Loire Valley wine districts of Anjou, Touraine and the Pays Nantais where all their Loire Valley wines are vinified. Remy Pannier’s attractive new packaging reflects over a century of tradition and experience in Loire Valley winemaking. Production Area Produced from vineyards between Nantes and the Touraine region of the Loire Valley. The soil is a mixture of tuffeau (chalk) and sand. Grape Varieties 40% Cabernet Franc, 40% Grolleau, 20% Gamay Vinification The yield is approximately 65 hl/ha. Grapes are picked at maturity to obtain natural sugar for this semi-sweet wine. Bunches are pressed immediately to preserve freshness and a bright color. Low temperature fermentation preserves red fruit flavors and aromas. No malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine is stored in stainless steel tanks with temperature control (13°C) until bottling. Color Delicate salmon pink Bouquet Aromas of strawberries and cherries Taste Well-balanced, supple, fruity and elegant with notes of red berries and cranberries along with a touch of mint and white pepper Alcohol 10.5% Serving Suggestions Served chilled, this wine is perfect with seafood, shellfish, and goat cheese.

Production Area Muscadet comes from the far western area at the mouth of the Loire River, south of the city of Nantes. The source of our Muscadet is the “Sèvre-et-Maine” area, planted with over 25,000 acres of vines. The soil is a mixture of volcanic and metamorphic rocks, with gneiss and micaschists. Muscadet is an international success story with humble origins as a favorite local wine that pairs perfectly with seafood. Grape Varieties 100% Melon de Bourgogne (Muscadet) Vinification The grapes are carefully selected at approximately 12% potential alcohol. Then, they are pressed smoothly in a pneumatic press to protect the juice from oxidation. Fermentation takes place in stainless tanks. The wine is aged on its fines lees during the winter from October to March, prior to bottling. Muscadet Sevre et Maine 2010 - Sante Gold Star, Sante/ Citrus blossom and minerals on the nose, with ripe melon and lime notes. Succulent on the palate with brine and herbaceous hints over a solid mineral base. Crisp, fruity finish. Delicious.
