Regnie Grain & Granit Charly Thevenet 94js 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

94 Points, James Suckling: "A wine with lots of dark fruit, plenty of granite, white pepper and bark. Full-bodied and rich yet fresh and vivid. Solid wine. Drink or hold. Better in 2019. Fantastic." 2/17 92 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous: "Dark ruby. Potent aromas of cherry pit, blackberry and licorice are lifted and sharpened by a peppery nuance. Broad and fleshy on entry and then tighter in the midpalate, offering juicy dark berry and floral pastille flavors underscored by a vein of smoky minerality. Rich yet vibrant in character, delivering strong closing thrust, sneaky tannins and very persistent dark berry and violet qualities." 1/17
