2005 Sauvignon Blanc Origin Redwood Creek represents the adventurous spirit of California and consistently delivers a rich, flavorful experience at an attractive price. Product Description The 2005 Sauvignon Blanc exudes aromas of gardenia and citrus blossom. The flavors of ripe limes and honeydew melons are layered with the varietal characteristics of fresh jalapeno and gooseberry. Cal's Harvest Notes The 2005 vintage began with heavy rains, resulting in a heavier crop than usual. High temperatures during the late spring and summer yielded Sauvignon Blanc grapes with lots of tropical citrus fruit characteristics. . Serving Suggestions This wine pairs well with foods that can be enjoyed by the sea, such as a beachside clambake and lobster boil. The wine will taste sweeter with a side of freshly picked greens, such as spinach, brussel sprouts or broccoli.
