Redwood Creek Chardonnay 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Origin Redwood Creek represents the adventurous spirit of California and consistently delivers a rich, flavorful experience at an attractive price. Product Description The 2005 Chardonnay expresses flavors of crisp Fuji apple and ripe citrus with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Its clean, crisp finish and lingering fruit sensation make it the perfect wine to pair with food or to consume by itself. Cal's Harvest Notes A week of hot weather in early march led to early bud break. The growing season that followed was ideal for white grape ripening. Mild daytime temperatures and cooler nights yielded an excellent crop. Serving Suggestions Explore the 2005 Chardonnay with friends at an outdoor picnic. This wine pairs well with roasted duck, white bean salad or chicken couscous.

Dry and a mishmash of seemingly unconnected flavors. Bouquet was nothing special, either.
