Product Description The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium bodied wine which is well structured with tannins that give texture and fullness to the palate. Particularly noticeable are hints of black cherry, fresh berries and vanilla. Cal's Harvest Notes A cool wet spring yielded ample soil moisture and vine canopies. A very hot summer was followed by a long cool harvest period which allowed a record crop to ripen and develop flavors. Overall diligence and patience in the vineyards and craftsmanship in the wineries yielded excellent wines from what might have been a challenging vintage.
