Redcliffe Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Color: Light straw Aroma: Aromas of citrus and melon underscored by notes of fresh hay and bell pepper. Taste: Full-bodied and lively, with intense flavors of grapefruit and passion fruit set against a backbone of racy acidity. Serving Suggestions: Outstanding with oysters, sushi, salads, fresh cheeses and a variety of light fare.

Citrus and melon notes. Very one dimensional and A LOT of grapefruit. Acidity is there but not amazing. Just ok for me 84 pts

Fragrant and tart, with floral, lime, grass and grapefruit notes. Mineral and stone accents linger in the finish.
