TRUCK FRIENDS AND PARTNERS! We've flagged you down to fill you up with premium Red Truck materials. As Charlie our wine maker said, "The key to making wine is knowing where you want to go. With all of the Red Truck wines, I knew exactly where I wanted to go. I wanted to make wines that had both style—young, fresh, in your face, and substance—balanced, flavorful and smooth." Hopefully you'll find that our materials reflect this philosophy as well.
Unlike most zins, this one is not so bright but it doesn't mean it's bad. I agree, it's a simple wine but it hast good quality.
Upon opening I didn’t detect much of a nose, and when I tasted it, I understood why. Quite unremarkable and tasteless. It certainly wasn’t the worst wine I’ve had, and I finished off the glass as I was gladly in need of one but didn’t feel like opening up another bottle. However, it was relegated to marinade status today.
