I had not tried this one before and we had it with Christmas dinner. It was pretty good and held up to a decent Bordeaux we finished right before.
Absurd, yet flaccid. LOL
Needs a little time to open up (would benefit from decanting) reveals aromas of violets, cherries and oak. Well balanced

External Reviews for Red Knot Shiraz Mclaren Vale
Red Knot reflects the typical big-bodied shiraz from South Australia with dark fruits and peppery black cherry on the nose and palate.
This Cabernet Sauvignon from South Australia shows ripe cassis fruit and a velvet texture. Bright acidity and lively tannins round out the finish.
Colour: Deep red with youthful purple tints.Aromas: Powerful ripe strawberry and blackberry aromas and added complexity with hints of spice, chocolate and savory American oak.Flavours: The sweet strawberry mid palate is balanced with fresh acidity and lingering richly toasted oak. A full bodied wine with luscious fruit that is enticing in its youth, but will also reward 2-3 years in the cellar.
