Red Diamond Merlot 2009
Red Diamond is a brand of wines produced in Washington State since 2003. The value driven wines were initially only marketed to restaurants, but were such a success, that they expanded to retail offerings in 2004. The wines are available in Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay. They continue to be some of the most popular American restaurant and bar wines, offering good bang-for-buck quality.

Michelle, this affordable ripe red shows rich fruit and true varietal character. Winemaker Juan Munoz Oca, selects grapes from some of Washington's best vineyards and carefully blends 92% Merlot, 3% Cabernet, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The wine is aged 12 months in French and American oak barrels for added complexity and style. Classic Washington State Merlot at a great price. It’s no wonder restaurant goers can’t get enough of it.
