This Merlot opens with a beautifully knit blackberry, cherry and spice scented nose with a toasty oak background. Sweet fruit on the palate is complemented by medium-bodied but firm tannins.
Red Diamond Merlot is one of America’s top 10 Restaurant Merlot's according to Wine & Spirits Magazine. Made by Washington State’s Chateau Ste. Michelle, this affordable ripe red shows rich fruit and true varietal character. Winemaker Juan Munoz Oca, selects grapes from some of Washington's best vineyards and carefully blends 92% Merlot, 3% Cabernet, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
