Following the success of our Merlot, we introduced our Cabernet Sauvignon in 2004. Like a diamond, this multi-faceted wine has quickly become a crowd favorite.
Aromas of black cherry, blackberries, liqueur and hints of tobacco and smoke precede a rich, silky palate of cherry, chocolate and black fruits with a touch of toasty oak on the finish.

- Everyone needs a few bottles of wine like this in their cellar. It is easy drinking and cheap. I had this for $10/glass (price of the bottle) in an upscale Brazilian steakhouse. When I ordered a CS, I expected something full-bodied to eat with my meat. It was a blessing in disguise that this CS turned out to be a fun, fruit-forward wine that paired well with the meat and a vast array of other items I had, in typical churrascaria fashion. Although there was hardly any bouquet, the sudden burst of flavors was a pleasant surprise. It had flavors of blackberries, candy, chocolate, little hint of oak. Finish read more...was pretty short, but it suited me fine for tonight since I soon had another piece of meat in my mouth right after a sip of wine. It would be a great wine if you are getting together with a mixed crowd. I can see some people not liking it for its sweet characteristics, but I think its great, given the right food and occassion. It spells 'fun' to me. I may be overrating this wine as I had it with a good meal and in a nice restaurant. Would be interested to taste this at home. (hide)
