Recline Ridge Marechal Foch 2009

Member Review by zufrieden:

Meeting the Ratzlaff family at Westwood Wines at the last minute this evening was pure serandipity; here is a couple determined to make quaffable wines in Salmon Arm BC Canada - pretty much the northern extremity of wine-making in North America. While their entire line-up is impressive, this humble Foch number stands out as very expressive of the variety, with chokecherry and coffee on the nose and a declicious cola on the palate following a typcal short to medium finish. Good balance and generally well-made, showing that this hybrid can provide a delicious beverage made by the right people. Recommended if you get up to Kamloops Lake, and be sure to try the rest of the lineup. 87 points.
