- Medium red. Cherry, raspberry, smoke and iron on the nose, unfettered by new oak scents. Supple, vinous and nicely balanced, with juicy acidity giving firmness to the red fruit flavors. Firm underlying structure. Finishes with very good length. (The Grateful Palate, Oxnard, CA)
